Project Details

Millions of Americans made difficult decisions following the economic fallout of COVID-19. Between the most controversial presidential election of all time and mass protest for racial equality, the short-term effects of the year 2020 were quite evident. By December 17, 2020, The pandemic erased 22 million jobs, with only 12 million of those jobs resurrected, leaving 10 million Americans out of work. Company layoffs are not new, but discharges of this size across all industries have never been seen before. A company‚Äôs most valuable resource is still its people, which brings us to the overarching question of this secondary study.
